Director of Group Travel
Beth Monte

Beth Monte is a 13 year hotel veteran. She began as
the Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn in Providence, RI.
From there she was recruited by Marriott Hotel Corporate
to be in their sales departments at several Washington, DC
hotels including the very first Marriott ever built –
the Twin Bridges Marriott Hotel.

Interstate Hotels Corporation recruited her
to open their Worcester, MA Marriott as the Director of Sales.
Her responsibilities were to find business for the new property,
primarily from associations and tour groups. From her successful
approach and with the corresponding results she was promoted
to the top position in Sales, the Director of Marketing.
In that capacity she was assigned to several other Marriott hotels,
the Lowell Hilton, and the Sheraton Tara in Nashua, NH.
During those years she built loyal relationships with customers
and employees. Relationships that are still firm today.
Her creed is to act in a morally responsible manner
where everyone “wins”.

Her broad experience includes working for the Governor of the
State of Rhode Island as a speech writer and researcher.
She also sold real estate on Cape Cod, did free lance marketing
and the Executive Director for a non-profit organization the Georgia
Veterinary Medical Assoc based in Atlanta, GA for 9 years.

Beth serves LETAP Management by securing tour related and
corporate group travel business for our properties in
Georgia and Louisiana. In that capacity she will have a close
working relationship to the National Sales offices of the respective
Franchised brands we operate. She will also travel overseas to visit
to present our hotels in Atlanta and New Orleans to operators that
generate tours out of Great Britain, Ireland and western Europe.  

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland,
College Park, MD where she was listed in…
Who’s Who in American Colleges & Universities based on her
high level of academic achievement and many school activities.
She also has a M. Ed in Guidance and Consulting from Providence
College, Providence, RI where her GPA was 3.9.
