Dilip Jhaveri
Dilip represents the very best in financial management
leadership with over 30 years of hotel and accounting
experience.
His primary responsibility is to maintain positive cash flow
by the execution of all accepted accounting principals and
practices. With effective controls that will ensure that our
portfolio of hotels operate in a stable manner that then
can prosper and earn profits that will allow our company
to continue to not only operate but grow both in the US
and in overseas locations that serve the company’s
strategic game plan for the future.
His varied career experiences include working as the
Controller for the multi-million dollar Edilcan Construction
Corporation based in Toronto, Canada for nine years
where he maintained a close working relationship with
the Banks, auditors and attorneys. He was responsible
for supervising a large accounting staff, job cost controls
and he was involved with the bidding process for jobs
sought by the construction company owners.
Previous to this he was the Controller for Clarkson Tools
also in Toronto and also for nine years.
Dilip brings to our organization not only strong accounting
knowledge and skills but the focused perspective of a
having been a manager/owner of two of his own hotels.
The Days Inn Lake Charles, Louisiana
and the Ramada Inn in Lake City, Florida.
Both hotels were initially unstable but were soon restored
to financial health through competent management and
capital investment in the product.
He earned an MBA from Long Island University in NY,NY
and has hands on experience with a firm of Certified Public
accountants.
