Philosophy
Our philosophy is quite simple... YOU CANNOT succeed in the long term without… the right people on your team.
BUT you will never have or keep the right people on your team unless your workplace is a good workplace.
Therefore, to support every member of our team at each hotel and ensure their satisfaction with us:
WE WILL:
1) Always be honest… people have to believe in you… before they will listen and do what must be done.
2) Know what we are dealing with before we take the first step.
We will prepare a GAME PLAN and list objectives we expect to achieve and in a measurable time frame.
We will be flexible and change the objectives/plans as circumstances change.
3) Keep in mind that any change… even for good… will generate stress.
4) Encourage participation from all of our employees because participation reduces stress.
5) Remember that change comes in small steps.
6) Allow failure. If employees are afraid they will be punished… they will never participate.
7) Show our employees how to take care of our guests… so that they do not need a managers approval.
8) Recognize and reward positive results all of the time… NOT just at specific time intervals.
9) Communicate what is going to happen… the good and the bad. And then communicate ALWAYS.
10) Create an environment that is focused and pleasant.
