As it relates to sales there is only one way to increase sales and that is to establish good
relationships.
Relationships are personal… where one utilizes our facility not only because the product and
services are exceptional… but where we have come to know our guest our client… and they
have come to know us,,, and to like us.
Anyone can find and get business. Keeping it is the challenge. We have been pleased to
enjoy many good relationships.
And our revenues keep climbing.
WHAT we DO
- Supervision of this area by the Vice President of Operations.
- Consultation and direction provided by the Director of Revenue Management to ensure
that the Director of Sales sells group related rooms on the correct days and at the
correct rate to maximize revenues.
- We provide a corporate Director to identify and secure bus tour business for all of the
hotels.
- Produce support materials to present the hotels in the correct manner and with a
professional presentation.
- Third party enhanced websites that conform to the legal standards of each respective
FRANCHISE.
- Require that the Director of Sales supports and participates in the Franchise brand
initiatives and action plans.
- Ensure that our on site sales personnel are actively involved in civic and community
functions and events to be perceived as part of the community and a “good neighbor”.
- Assist in the recruiting, interviewing, and selection of those sales candidates needed to
be hired.
- Ensure that all Sales personnel attend required and optional training seminars to
improve their skills.
In our company we have the Director of Sales at each property develop a SALES Plan but
not the marketing plan.
As it relates to the marketing plan aspects… while the Director of Sales will actively
participate in the process… the actual execution of agreed upon strategies… will be handled
solely our corporate Director of Revenue development.
